Daytona Exhaust gaskets

I just found out that stock Daytona exhaust gaskets are one piece (like the one piece head gaskets were not enough).
They ain't cheap either..2V0-14613-00-00.....$23 at HVC

What does it take to mount a set of Spec II F1's?
Does Gary send any type of gasket?
Is there any alternative (other than cutting pockets for 1A1 gaskets)?

I have emailed Gary so many times (and phoned a few times also) that I think he is sick of talking to me.
The pipes have been shipped.
What do I need for exhaust gaskets?

Are there any other bikes that use the same center to center on the bolt holes as the Daytona?
Like the RZ uses a flat gasket and a donut.
The flat gasket, if it fit the bolt holes would be perfect.
I can cut the ID, it will be way bigger than any stock Yamatwin gasket.
Although I see that the RZ gasket has a pretty big hole, I assume because it also uses a donut in the center of that gasket.(kind of odd)

Another possibility, is to buy gasket material.
Can you buy material for making your own header gaskets?
I have never heard of that, but who knows, it is probably out there.

One reason I do not want to just use Exhaust putty has to do with Gary's flanges.
They usually have a slot on either side, then he welds a fairly thin washer onto the flange at the correct location.
That way the flanges fit any bike, just put the washer in the right place.
Last set, I had to chuck up in the lathe and take 30 or 40 thou just to get them flat.

Hmm... Maybe that is a reason to use high temp goop?

I index the outside stud, to the outside of the port opening with my dividers. then get the total of the port itself. Then go off that to the inside stud. I take a file and dressed top of the flange flat.
 Blue it up,  get the port opening to the size I need,  then polish it with a 400 tootsie roll.
 I lock the flanges in without the pipes on, I can look right up in there and see if I'm off.  I get them  dead on, and lock them down.   Then I lay the pipes in so they are not binding or under stress as far in as I can.  Then I mount them where they want to be, not where the brackets say they should go.  The last set was a set of Spec 11's on a standard 400 in a Daytona chassis.  I dont have to trim gaskets,  or worry about leaks.  Thats why I like the putty. It works. 
 I just went and checked, the stuff is made by Versachem. Its called Joint and Seam Sealer.  Silver chrome almost looking tube, with a red cap. I got it at Napa.
