Stands, lifts, jacks etc.. what are ya'll using?

I'm building a cs5 race bike and I need a good way to get the thing mounted solid while I do it.  I've used motorcycle jacks that come under the engine and lift the bike up from the frame but I have expansion chambers on this bike and won't be able to do that.  I have also seen the lifts where you just leave the tires on and ratchet strap it down to the lift, but this makes it hard to do work on forks and or anything requiring removal of the suspension and or wheels.  What are you all using?  Anything cool out there that I haven't seen?  thanks

Nice work on both, the R5 and the stand.
 I have a huge beam in my garage. I fabed up some big"I" hooks, and  got two lengths of 600lbs chain. I put a "S" hook at the end,  with an adj. turnbuckle on each side.  I made up 2 bolts that go through the threaded bolt holes at the back of the top frame horns that are common to all RD's. I hang the bike from them and adjust for height and level with those. They are strong enough I hung a 1000 Guzzi from them.

I have a small work stool about 1 foot round.
It fits right under all my bikes (with the chambers off).
It keeps both wheel just up off the ground.
The stool has wheels, so i can push it around (my living room and kitchen where I work on them)

Only bad part is I have to lift them onto the stool.
Not so hard with the RD's.
Real hard with the DR650, but no pipe in the way.

Ive always just used tie down straps looped over the garage rafters to lift the front   Or the front tied down to eye bolts in the floor with a floor jack for the rear
