I just watched a documentary on the subject tonight. Apparently, in CA, you are permitted to have 8 oz. in possession and are allowed to even grow a few plants. That's the state law. Federal law has no lenience for possession of pot. So, in California, the state/municipal police apparently won't fuck with you for small amounts in possession but the FBI will fuck you over. As I said earlier, this is info that got from a documentary. I'm sure some locals will chime in.... |

Let em take over. Grow your own, for your personal use. It may stop south of the border shit arriving, it may cause a black market, with more violence. I have this SOB 2 miles down the road, he's a renter, dirtbag also IMO. I'm way out there on a 5 mile dirt road, last one, good thing because when harvest time comes, the traffic sucks. If he lived past me, I would cut down everyone plant he has, and thats 99. And I've called the cops, nothing. He must be using at least 3 medical cards. Mabey I should be growing something besides apples. Pot, 3 lbs a plant @ 3000$lb. Tax the stuff. His plants are Christmas tree size. Lets see, 9000$x 99 Get a real job and contribute. |

For all practical purposes use is legal in California now. Sure you need a script to buy it, we all know that's a joke. Growing is also legal in differing quantities depending on where you live. I think this all is very bad for us as a nation. Legalizing commercial growth would be extremely unwise, the price would plummet from what it is right now and it would be everywhere and easy to get, just like alcohol. But the collective stupidity of the USA seems to be on the rise so why not go whole hog and make all drugs legal. We can save a whole lot of money on law enforcement and incarceration, make a whole lot of money in taxes..... and then give it all right back to support the addicts who can't work, the crack babies born to moms on welfare and all of the rest of the social problems we will have. The slope is not slippery, there is no slope, it's a straight drop some of us choose not to see.

Pot, as far as I know is not addictive, unless your a spineless SOB and fell the need to try something a bit stronger. Anyone smoking, shooting, snorting a substance in a powered form should not past go. Theres so many people growing on a large scale than are not afraid to defend their crop, in neighbor hoods, out in the country, on federal land, property that not theres. Somehow we need to stop this, whatever it is. Medical use has it pourpose, so does occasional use. Most pot smokers are lazy MF's.

I read an article about a young country boy who smoked one marijuana cigarette then killed everyone who lived in his town with a steak knife (500 or so, I think). Afterward, when apprehended by the county police, the young guy said that he didn't even remember doing it. Shit. You'd think he'd remember the last 100 or so! No? Fuck! It's got to take all day to kill that many folks with a steak knife......

I say legalize it, put a serious tax on for the state of calif, so we can get this dam state out of bankrupcy. It is no worse than cigerettes, and you can buy those anywhere, you can smoke 10 joints and still drive a car, so whats the big deal.
Its not like were trying to legalize Meth or Cocaine. If you want to smoke weed and be lazy and have no life and no job thats your choice.
